In a world that seems to spin faster by the day, where social networking allows us to make friends with one another at the click of the mouse, we may be able to see what people have tagged or who they’ve ‘poked,’ but it can sometimes be difficult to really get to know someone and what they’re about. Feeling friendly, cutting to the chase, and introducing a current artist who represents the best of what they do, Buzzine has set the table for today's musical Speed Date:
Hello! What is your name and where are you from?
My name is Dave Mozdzanowski and I’m from Feeding Hills, Massachusetts.
Where are you right now?
I am currently in West Palm Beach, Florida staying at a friend’s house.

Can we have a pic to see what you’re up to?
A little blurry...but Ryan is The Gallery drummer -- not a photographer!
If our moms were setting us up on a blind date, what three things would your mom tell my mom about you?
She would say that I’m sweet, have her cheeks, and that she’s my biggest fan.
Why are you answering these questions?
My band, The Gallery, just released a new five-song EP called Come Alive.
What three words best describe your musical style?
Rock, Roll, and Folk.
What sentence best sums up your latest album?
Tom Petty has a very legitimate child with UK rock music.
What are you most proud of in your professional life?
Learning a lot about music and myself.
What other music (apart from your own) are you listening to right now?
Pearl Jam "Better Man" just ended on my iTunes shuffle, but I’ve been listening to everything from Mumford & Sons to Oasis, Eminem and Dr. Dre, to Kings of Leon and everything in between all the time.
Who is your musical hero?
My musical hero would have to be Sir Paul McCartney.
When are you the happiest: recording in the studio or playing live on stage? Why?
I really love to record. The other guys could tell you how much I love to demo our songs, but nothing can really beat playing live. There’s something special about only having those 30-40 minutes to get the songs out the way you want.
What has been your greatest ‘rock star’ moment so far?
Anytime anyone we don’t know tells us they like, let alone even heard our songs, it’s still somewhat shocking. That and playing on the “big stage” at a festival is always awesome, even if it is hours before the headliner.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully still playing music, and maybe even paying some bills because of it too.
What is your motto?
I love good quotes, but I try to keep this in mind: “Be Humble.”
Anything more to add?
Thanks so much for having me. I enjoyed our speed date.
Where online can fans find out more about you?
@thegallerymusic on Twitter or thegallerymusic on Facebook.
The Gallery is currently out on tour, playing material from their debut EP, 'Come Alive.'
