What is your name and where are you from?

My name is Sophia, but you can call me Soso. I live in Stockholm. But where I am "from" is still unclear.

Where are you right now?

I am playing outside by the blue stones in my neighborhood.

She would tell you to run, run, run for your life.

Why are you answering these questions (what are you promoting)?

I think I am promoting my record, That Time I Dug So Deep I Ended Up in China.

What sentence best sums up your latest album?

That Time I Dug So Deep I Ended Up in China.

What are you most proud of in your professional life?

That I do it myself.

What other music (apart from your own) are you listening to right now?

I am always listening to Mos Def, Black Sabbath, and Prince.

Who is your musical hero?

Hmm. What defines a hero? I guess it would be Bjork. Or Kate Bush. They best represent the type of artist I would like to be in this industry. Oh sh*t, wait. Maybe Tupac?!

When are you the happiest: recording in the studio or playing live on stage? Why?

Definitely when I am recording. Those are the most private, fulfilling moments of my life. I never have an agenda, and I never think about what is going to happen to it later on. I just do. Because I have to, or else I would choke and die or something. Whenever the aftermath starts. I am miserable. That's where the "head" kicks in and needs to express these things to other people, get affirmation, appreciation, etc. I don't always identify with that part of myself. In the heart/in the head.

What has been your greatest ‘rock star’ moment so far?

It probably wasn't a situation involving music...

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I can't see myself in five years. I have never been able to picture myself in the future. That freaks me out sometimes. I hope I am what they call "happy"...?

What is your motto?

"Do It Yourself, Bitch." Don't wait around for assistance.
