Metal Icons Gather to Announce Rocking Nominations at the Grammy Museum

On Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California, The 2012 Revolver Golden Gods announced nominations for the 4th Annual Awards Show.

 

Each year, Revolver throws the premiere U.S. hard rock and metal awards show, the Revolver Golden Gods.  In past years, the show has featured appearances by Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Rob Halford, Dave Grohl, Slash, Lemmy Kilmister, Dave Mustaine, William Shatner, Sebastian Bach, and Marilyn Manson.

 

Announcing the nominations this year, in the hallowed atmosphere of The Grammy Museum, were the collective hard-rocking mob of Metal icons Alice Cooper, Zakk Wylde, and Sebastian Bach; Jonathan Davis (Korn); Vinnie Paul (Hellyeah, ex-Pantera, ex-Damageplan); rocker/wrestler Chris Jericho; critically acclaimed newcomers Black Veil Brides; Mike Portnoy (Adrenaline Mob, ex-Dream Theater); Vinnie Appice (Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell); James Michael (Sixx:A.M.);  John Moyer (Disturbed); motocross rider Brian Deegan (The Metal Mulisha); Michael Starr (Steel Panther); and Wendy Dio, widow of legendary artist Ronnie James Dio.

 

The 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards Ceremony will take place at Club Nokia on April 11, 2012. Hardcore fans are invited to cast votes for their favorite aritsts across a number of categories, on the Golden Gods Offical Homepage.
