A Seasoned Live Performance Beneath the Trees of Outside Lands Festival

On Sunday, August 14, 2011, The Decemberists took to the stage of Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, California.  Putting on a regal performance of songs from most recent album The King is Dead, the seasoned purveyors of Americana pleased the crowd with lead singles "Down by the Water" and "This is Why We Fight."  There were also fond moments from previous albums The Hazards of Love, The Crane Wife, and their other royal favorite, Her Majesty the Decemberists.
