On Sunday, October 9, 2011, CSS turned the Toyota Antics Block Party crowd into a pulsating pogofest to round out the 2011 Filter Magazine Culture Collide Festival in Los Angeles, California. The second edition of the now annual shindig ran around the Echo Park neighborhood from October 5th - 9th, showcasing more than 75 artists from around the US and beyond, with international acts hailing from as close as Canada and Mexico and as far as Iceland and Australia...
From start to finish, the Brazilian pary starters showed the masses that their intention was to ignite the night, and that they did not intend to do it alone. Their headlining set was front-loaded with crowd favorites like “Let's Make Love and Listen to Death From Above” and "Jager Yoga," guaranteeing that a good time was had by all.
Currently on tour to support their latest album, La Liberacion, the band from Sao Paulo admitted to being a little worse for wear from their Echoplex show the night before, but shook off any hangover within the energy of a new show and a massive new crowd beneath a starry sky on an outdoor stage on a gorgeous night in California.
