On Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, California, Chiddy Bang -- one of hip-hop's hottest duos -- came to party and serve Breakfast.

 

Chidera Anamege and Xaphoon Jones -- the men behind a whole bank of mixtapes, from the very first Swelly Express to viral video monsters like "Opposite of Adults" from their Preview EP -- finally launched their long-awaited debut album of smart ryhmes and brand new beats. Backed, for the very first time, by a full live band, and treating the packed party crowd to album tracks (including blistering singles "Ray Charles" and "Mind Your Manners") and mixtape favorites alike, Chiddy Bang proved conclusively that Breakfast is still the most important meal of the day.

 

Oh, and that with a little dab of genius -- Roscoes, Las Vegas, and Bacon -- can all be joined together at last via an inspired freestyle verse or two...
